On Friday, October 6th, 2017, members from the Chelsea Fire District, in conjunction with the City of Beacon Fire Department and the Glenham Fire District, conducted the 2nd Annual Beacon High School Fire Prevention event. Members provided students and staff with fire safety and prevention information, assisted students with donning personal protective equipment and using a thermal imaging camera to search for fire victims, and discussed the benefits of becoming a volunteer firefighter. Students also had the opportunity to win gift cards to area businesses by answering fire safety and prevention questions correctly.
The Chelsea Fire District would like to thank the Beacon High School administration for the opportunity to interact with students, the City of Beacon Fire Department and Glenham Fire District for the opportunity to work together, andthe Beacon High School students for participating in the event. Best of luck with your home coming this weekend. Go Bulldogs! Beat Somers!
